One-Shot Casing Grout Packer
One-Shot casing Grout Packers are run in-line with the casing upon installation. When the casing is installed to total depth, the grout stinger attached to the drill string is run inside the casing until it lands out on the packer.
The packer is then inflated via water pumped through the drill string. When inflation pressure inside the packer is reached, a valve inside the grout stinger is activated. opening up the grout ports. Grout is then pumped until returns are observed at surface. Once grouting is complete, the grout stinger can be removed from the casing. There is no need for drill out - once the stinger is removed, the well is complete.
